Safety
Staying safe on Crewvale.
Crewvale is for adults only. Here’s what we do, and what you can do.
Last updated 15 Oct 2026
To stay safe with an agency: keep conversations on Crewvale until you’re sure, compare any contract with the agency’s published terms, never share your account logins before you have a signed agreement, and report anything that feels wrong.
Adults only
Every creator confirms they’re 18 or older before agencies can find them. Agencies check ID and age themselves before working with anyone. Crewvale doesn’t check ID.
Keep it on Crewvale
Keep conversations on Crewvale until you’re sure. Never share passwords, account logins or payment details in messages.
What should an agency contract include?
At least the six terms every agency publishes on Crewvale: their share and what it covers, how you are paid, contract length, notice period, who owns your accounts and what happens when you leave. Compare the contract you are sent with the agency’s published terms, and ask about anything that doesn’t match.
Should I give an agency my account login?
Not before you have a signed agreement you are comfortable with. Even then, ask whether they can work through team access instead of your password, and change your passwords if you leave.
Who owns my account?
You should. Account ownership is one of the six terms every agency publishes. Check that it says your accounts, logins and email stay yours, and that your contract says the same.
How do I leave an agency?
Check the notice period and exit terms on their profile and in your contract. Give notice in writing, agree when they hand back your logins and stop posting or messaging as you, and change your passwords afterwards.
Warning signs in an agency offer
- They ask for your logins before you have signed anything.
- The contract differs from the terms on their profile.
- They push you to sign quickly or won’t let you take time to read.
- They ask you to pay a fee up front.
- They won’t put their share or notice period in writing.
Block and report
Creators can block any agency from their profile: a blocked agency can never find them or message them. Anyone can report a concern about an agency, a profile or a conversation.
In an emergency
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
