How matching works
Matched on fit, not on who DMs first.
Every score is worked out the same way, from what both sides tell us. It isn’t AI, and nobody can pay to change it.
The six things we compare
- Geography
- They work in your country’s market.
- 15%

- 15%
- Platforms
- They manage every platform you’re on. Partly, if at least one.
- 15%
- Services
- They offer every kind of help you asked for. Partly, if at least half.
- 20%
- Commercial
- Their share and contract are within what you’d accept. Partly, if the share is up to 10 points higher or the contract one step longer.
- 25%
- Experience
- You meet their minimum audience or time active. Partly, if you’re close.
- 10%
A partial match counts for 50% of that factor’s weight.
What the score means
85% and up is a strong fit, 70% and up a good fit, and 50% and up a partial fit. Below that, an agency isn’t shown as a match, but it stays in the directory and you can still ask for an introduction.
What’s not in the score
Agency size, popularity, how fast they reply, and anything an agency pays Crewvale. Agencies can’t pay to rank higher or change their score.
Private by design
The score uses everything you tell us, including terms you keep hidden. Agencies see the same score and the same six factors, but not the details you haven’t shared with them.
If the weights change
Every score is recalculated the same way, and this page shows the new weights.
