# Check an agency contract before you sign.

Answer a few questions about the contract an OnlyFans or webcam agency has sent you, and see which terms look fair, which to ask about and which are red flags.

Last updated 17 Oct 2026

## In short

The Crewvale contract checklist helps creators and cam models judge an agency contract before they sign. It looks at eleven things: the agency’s share and what it’s taken from, contract length, notice, fees for leaving, who owns your accounts, what happens after you leave, how you’re paid, chatters, the ID and age check, and up-front fees. Each answer comes back as Good, Check this or Red flag, with a plain reason. Your answers stay on your device. It’s a checklist, not legal advice.

> This is a checklist, not legal advice. It can’t tell you whether a contract is valid or enforceable where you live. For that, talk to a lawyer or a legal adviser in your country.

## Check your contract

Answer what you can. Anything you leave out is left out of your summary.

Your answers stay on this device. Crewvale doesn’t send, store or see them, and they’re gone when you reload or close the page.

## What this checklist treats as fair

These are the lines the checklist uses. They’re a starting point for questions, not a rule every good agency meets: an agency outside one of them may have a reason worth hearing.

- **Agency’s share**
  - **Good** — 40% or less
  - **Check this** — More than 40%, up to 50%
  - **Red flag** — More than 50%
- **Share taken from**
  - **Good** — Taken from net earnings, after the platform’s cut
  - **Check this** — Not stated
  - **Red flag** — Taken from gross earnings, before the platform’s cut
- **Contract length**
  - **Good** — Rolling, or up to 12 months
  - **Check this** — More than 12 and up to 24 months, or it renews by itself
  - **Red flag** — More than 24 months
- **Notice period**
  - **Good** — 30 days or less
  - **Check this** — More than 30 and up to 90 days
  - **Red flag** — More than 90 days
- **Fees for leaving**
  - **Good** — Nothing to pay
  - **Check this** — A fixed amount, stated in the contract
  - **Red flag** — A share of future earnings, a buyout, or not stated
- **Accounts and logins**
  - **Good** — Yours, with team access
  - **Check this** — Yours, but they hold your password
  - **Red flag** — The account or its email is in their name
- **After you leave**
  - **Good** — Everything stays with you
  - **Check this** — Limited reuse of content for a set time
  - **Red flag** — They keep accounts or content with no end date
- **How you’re paid**
  - **Good** — Paid by the platform, or by the agency at least monthly, with the platform’s statements
  - **Check this** — Paid less often than monthly
  - **Red flag** — No payout schedule, or no access to the platform’s statements
- **Chatters**
  - **Good** — No chatters, or the contract says they write as you
  - **Check this** — Chatters write as you, but the contract doesn’t say so
- **ID and age check**
  - **Good** — They checked your ID and age
  - **Red flag** — They didn’t
- **Up-front payment**
  - **Good** — Nothing to pay up front
  - **Red flag** — A fee to join

## Compare it with what the agency published

Every agency on Crewvale publishes six terms before you get in touch: their share and what it covers, how you’re paid, contract length, notice, who owns your accounts and what happens when you leave. If the contract you’re sent says something different, ask why before you sign.

## Before you sign

- Take the time you need to read it. An agency that pushes you to sign quickly is a warning sign.
- Get every promise in writing, in the contract itself.
- Keep a copy of everything you sign.
- Don’t share your logins before you have a signed agreement.
- If anything worries you, get advice before you sign, not after.

## Something wrong with an agency on Crewvale?

If an agency’s contract differs from the terms it published on Crewvale, it asked you to pay up front, or it didn’t check your ID and age, tell us. Reports go to the Crewvale team, who review each one.
